This policy covers navlink.net and the account system shared across NavLink's sites (navlink.net, tunnelcat.navlink.net, shortnerdcat.navlink.net, apps.navlink.net). Individual products — for example the ShortNerdCat VPN client — describe their own service-specific data handling (such as VPN connection logs) in their own app and support pages; this page covers the website and account layer common to all of them.

Information we collect

• Account email and password. Collected when you sign up for a NavLink account via the "My Account" flow, to create and authenticate your account.
• Session cookies. Used to keep you signed in after login. They identify your session, not you personally beyond your account.
• Language preference. Stored locally in your browser (localStorage), never sent to our servers.
• Service logs. We keep logs to operate, secure, and improve the service, and to compile aggregate usage statistics.

Information we do not collect

We do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this site. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may disclose account data to law enforcement when legally required, or as needed to investigate abuse of our services.
